Established in 1999, the DAC Foundation is a tax deductible, 501(c)(3) organization. Its mission is to preserve the legacy of philanthropy and support of amateur athletics instituted by the Club’s founders. This heritage has distinguished us among clubs all over the world. DAC Foundation donations fund the awards program and provide scholarships for the finalists of the DAC’s annual Michigan High School Athlete of the Year award, which recognizes exceptional scholar-athletes. Donations also support boxing teams from the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy and U.S. Military Academy, all three of which participate in the DAC Chuck Davey Boxing Classic.
